Milena Govich

 

Milena Govich is a Serbian actress, director , and singer was born on on October 29 of 1976. She is most well-known for her role in the role of NYPD Detective Nina Cassady in Law & Order.



 



 Early childhood and education



 Govich was born in Norman, Cleveland County, Oklahoma. The late Dr. Bruce Michael Govich who died in 1998 and Dr. Marilyn Green Govich[2] were her parents. Marilyn currently teaches voice and Bruce worked at the University of Oklahoma. Her father is Serbian and her mother is of Scottish and English heritage. Milica Govich is her aunt. She has appeared on television, film, and Broadway.



 



 Milena was a graduate of Norman High School in 1995 as valedictorian of her class. Following the example of her academic parents as well as her academic parents, she graduated from the University of Central Oklahoma as valedictorian. The following year she earned two degrees in the field of performance and premedical sciences as well as the minor of violin and dance. After graduation, Govich moved to New York City to pursue a career in acting.
